It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Raphael Muthiga Macharia, which occurred on 8th September, 2022.

Loving husband to Agatha Wangui Macharia. Father to Jane Ngima, Lillian Ngima & Paul Mwangi, Patrick Macharia & Naomi Njeri, George Kariuki & Wamaitha, Kenneth Gathua & AliceWambui and Ann Njoki.

Brother to Marion, Ruth, Lydia, Musa, Sister Mary Phillip, Agnes Marua (Nyeri), John Weru Macharia (formerly UoN), Scolastica Muriuki (formerly KCB) and the Mathenges.

Grandfather of Evans, Kimberly, Nicole, Raphael, Esther, Ivy, Ngima and many others.

Family and friends are meeting at his residence in Muthaiga Estate from 5:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nanyuki District Hospital Mortuary on Friday 16th September, 2022 at 10:00am for a funeral service at Christ the King Catholic Church – Nanyuki. Thereafter he will be laid to rest at his home in Muthaiga, Nanyuki.
