Rebecca Wanjiru Muthui

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved staff Mrs. Rebecca Wanjiru Muthui, of KCB Group Limited — Head Office, which occurred on 11th September, 2021, while undergoing treatment at The Aga Khan University Hospital.
Beloved daughter of the late Mr. Peter Nderitu and Mrs. Elizabeth Gathigia. She was sister to Ms. Rose Ella Wairema and Ms. Beatrice Wahiga. Loving wife of Mr. Samuel Muthui Muriithi and daughter-in-law to the late Cllr. Solomon Muriithi Muthui, Mrs. Rahab Kagure Muriithi, Mrs. Zipporah Wangeci Muriithi and Mrs. Catherine Watare Muriithi.
Loving mother to Elizabeth Gathigia (Wairimu) and Max Muriithi. She was mother-in-law to Mr. Gabriel Kariuki and loving grandmother to Terry Wanjiru Muturi and Kariuki Muturi. Rebecca was a wonderful cousin, cherished aunt, niece, sister-in-law and friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Juja, Amani Kigwe estate, from 6:00pm; at her mums’ (retired Teacher Gathigia) home in Gathuthi; and Naro Moru.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home at Kabati (near Kenol) on Tuesday, 21st September, 2021 at 7:00am. The funeral service and burial will take place at their home in Naro Moru from 10:30am on the same day.
Job 1:21 “… the LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name of the LORD.”
Poleni sana kwa kumpoteza mpendwa wenu katika kifo. Ufunuo 21: 4 inasema hivi ikimrejelea Yehova Mungu: Naye atafuta kila chozi kutoka katika macho yao, na kifo hakitakuwapo tena wala maombolezo wala kilio wala maumivu hayatakuwapo tena. Mambo ya zamani yamepitilia mbali”.
Kuweni na uhakika kwamba hivi Karibuni ataweza kuishi tena.
Poleni sana na Yehova azidi kuwafariji
Hi. Poleni sana kwa kumpoteza mpendwa wenu katika kifo. Biblia ina Habari Njema kuhusu wapendwa wetu waliokufa. Yohana 5:28, 29 inasema kwamba: ‘Saa inakuja ambayo wafu watasikia sauti ya Yesu na kutoka mwenye makaburi.’ Hivyo kifo sio mwisho, kuna ufufuo na tutawaona wapendwa wetu tena.

Hi. Accept my deepest condolences for the loss of Rebecca Wanjiru. Rev 21:4 which says in part, “Death will be no more” assures us of resurrection soon to come. May this scripture bring comfort to you.
