Regina Njeri Mumita

It is with great sadness we announce the death of our beloved Elder Regina Njeri Mumita formerly of Ituru Boys High School on 23rd September 2022, after a long illness bravely borne.

Daughter to the late Fraricis Githutha Kagonye and Hannah Njoki Githutha. Beloved wife to Bernard Mumita Njoroge. A devoted mother to Ruth Mwihaki, Humphrey Njoroge, the late Francis Githutha and Ann Njoki. Mother-in-law to Esther Cheruto. A doting grandmother to Emma, Calvin and Ella.

Loving sister to Mary Wanjiku Njane, Lucy Wamburu, the late Peter Kagonye, Stephen Njuguna, John Kamau, Paul Kuru, Salome Mugure Thiga, Charles Muchigu, Joseph Githumbi and the late Anthony Gachuhi.

Daughter-in-law to Humphrey Njoroge Mumita and the late Ruth Mwihaki Njoroge. A sister-in-law, an aunt and cousin to many.

Prayers and Funeral meetings are being held at their family home in Gatundu from 4.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home (Thika Road) on Saturdays October, 2022 at 8.00am. Funeral service and burial will take place at her home in Githuya, Gatundu South, Kiambu County from 10.00am.
