Regina Wainuku Waruru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Regina Wainuku Waruru of Kanjuri village, Giakaibei sub location, Gathehu location, Nyeri County, which occurred on November 30th 2016 after a long illness.

Wife of the late Gilead Waruru Kagombe. Mother of Margaret Wairimu, Lucy Gathigia, Dorcas Nyokabi, David Githaga, Mary Gathoni, Catherine Mumbi, Grace Waceke, John Mathenge and Lucy Njoki.

Sister of Mumbi Kamau, late Kinyua Githaiga, Ngunyi Githaiga and Maranga Githaiga. Mother in law of Peter Kariuki, John Mbaria, Simon Macharia, Murage Ngotho, Joe Wachira, Francis Gachuiri, Faith Njeri and Agatha Muthoni. An Aunt, grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her Kaharo village, Kanjuri home and in Nairobi Abbey Hotel, 4th floor, Chui Hall on Monday and Tuesday from 6pm for prayers and funeral arrangements,

The cortege leaves Jamii Funeral Home, Karatina on Wedneday 7th December 2016 at 8.30am for funeral service and burial at her home, Kanjuri village, near Kanjuri High School.
