Retired Elder Isabel Njeri Wainaina

It is with grateful hearts and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Retired Elder Mrs. Isabel Njeri Wainaina that occurred on 26th November 2022.

Beloved wife of the late Mwalimu Hosea Wainaina of Ngecha Farm in Nakuru. She was a devoted mother to the late Kamiti Wainaina and Sarah Kamiti, Rev. Dr. Judy Mbugua and the late Richard Mbugua, Sally Wainaina, Wambui Wainaina, Wanjiku and Howard Lisberg. Step-mother to the late FrossWanjiru, the late Eliud Karuga, the late Reuben Mwinga and Zipporah Mwinga, Eddy and Flora Wainaina.

Sister to the late Olive Wanjiku, the late Phyllis Kimuchu, the late Alice Chege, the late Arthur Ngugi, the late Zipporah Kamau and Dorcas Macharia. Grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, cousin, aunty and a dear friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting at 4.00pm daily at her home in Ngecha Farm in Nakuru for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a memorial service at CITAM Karen on Sunday 4th December 2022 at 3.00pm.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 6th December 2022 at 10:30am at PCEA Utugi Church Nakuru, followed thereafter by a burial ceremony at her home in Ngecha Farm.
