It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Retired Mwalimu Grace Nakhumicha Musebe Wekesa on 15th August 2019.

Daughter of the late Buni Wakwabubi and Peritah Nabwitikha. Sister of Maurice Temba and Moses Wekesa. Wife of the late Jonathan Kiteki. Co-wife of Florence Namalwa (Headteacher Maeni Primary Sirisia) and Catherine Wakhu (Headteacher Tembelela Primary). Sister-in-law of the late Okumu Awinji, the late Fichania, Namalwa, Turutea, the Late Nabwala and Rosa. Mother of Eric Temba (Principal Misimo), Evelyn Wekesa Alusa (Deputy Director Education and Vocational Training), Jesicah (Deputy Head teacher Tamulega Primary), Ruth (Deputy Head teacher Sitabicha), Ben-Musieba Primary, Engineer Caleb of Global Solutions, Mercy- Pharmacist.

Step-mother of Lydia-Kamunyong’ole ECD, Wycliffe, Lillian, Rebecca, Joshua, Grace, Mary and Eliakim. Basakwa of Molenje, the late Alusa, Mogaka, Wambeo, the late Namuseyi, Ombogo. Mother in law of Mary Temba (Principal Ebusamba Secondary), Josiah Alusa Principal Kakiimba, Eric Mogaka, Benson Namuseyi DROP Sirisia, Jones of Chwele Boys, Doctor Kemunto. Grandmother of Beryl, Belinda, Belden, Bellan, Vike, Grace, Alusa, Jared, Mokeira, Nabusakali, Peace, Jones, Johnnan, Pendo, Lincoln, Stephanie, Grace, Maxwell, Jonathan, Musebe, Ashley, Kiteki and Gracious.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 5:00 pm at her Mufungu home to make funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Lugulu Mortuary on the 21st August. Burial will be held at her Mufungu family home on Friday 23rd August.
