Rhoda Wanjiru Ngunjiri

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear Mother, Rhoda Wanjiru Ngunjiri.

Daughter to the late Leonard Ngugi Karuga and the late Esther Njeri Ngugi. Loving Wife to the late Isaac Ngunjiri Kahinga.

Sister to Peter Wachira, the late Jason Gitonga, the late Rachael Wangeci, Elijah Ngugi, Jesse Kiburi, Miriam Gitahi, James Kiboi, David Thuo, Shelmith Ndirangu and the late Moses Kamau.

Mother to Dadson Ngunjiri, the late Roseanne Wanjiru,Charles Ngunjiri, the late Anthony Mwangi and Carol Njeri Gitobu. Mother-in-law to Geraldine Maina, George Maina, Maryanne Wambaki, Irene Mwangi and Peter iGtobu.

Grandmother to Irene Wanjiku, Isaac Kahinga, Rhoda Kahinga, Newton Githinji, Rhoda Wanjiru, Ryan Nderitu, Dwayne Gitobu, Bryan Nderitu, Eldad Gathiani, Franklin Mwangi, Ava Gitobu, Ronald Mwangi and Dylan Gitobu.

Funeral meeting arrangements are ongoing at her home in Nyeri and Nairobi at St. Andrews Church Tuesday – Thursday 5.00pm-7.00pm. For financial support send contributions to: 0707111501.

We will have a morning mass in honor of Mum on Thursday 21st July 2022 at St. Austin’s Catholic Church in Lavington at 9.00am.

We will celebrate the life of our dearest loving mom, sister, aunt, grandma and friend on Friday, 22nd July 2022 at PCEA Gatitu Church and later proceed to her home in Kiamuiru Kwa-Rhoda, along the Nyeri – Nairobi Highway for her final send-off ceremony.
