Richard Ndungu Kamau (Baba Ken)

We regret to announce the death of Richard Ndungu Kamau (Baba Ken), of Sunrise Estate Phase 3, which occurred on 19th December, 2021.

Son of the late Nathaniel Kamau Thoigo and the late Zipporah Wanja Kamau. Son-in-law to Elijah Thige and Gladys Nyambura Step-son to the late Esther Wangari Kamau. The family hailed from Lare, Njoro, Nakuru County. Husband to the late Elizabeth Wanjiku Kamau. Father to Ken Kamau Ndungu, Catherine Wanja Ndungu and Gladys Nyambura Stackhouse. Father-in-law to Susan K Kamau and Brett Tyson Stackhouse. Grandfather to Alpha Brian Ndungu, Joy Brenda Wanjiku, Gabrian Ronald Ndungu and Uriah 7 Tyson Kamau.

Brother to Sammy Nganga, the late Margaret Wambui Muitiriri – Muturi, the late Eunice Wanjiru, the late John Njoroge, Mary Wanjiku Ololchold, Elijah Kamau, John Macharia, Esther Wanjiku (Kanuthu) Kamau (Baba Ken) and Philip Kairigo. Step-brother to Ndungu, the late Mwaura, Njoroge, Njihia, the late Macharia, Kimani and Nyambura. Brother-in-law to the Thige’s – Mbuchiri, the late Njunge, Gathoni, Njoroge, Njeri, Mbugua, Boro, Wanjiru and Nduta.

Meetings and Prayers are taking place daily at his home at Sunrise Estate, Phase 3, House No: 668, opposite Donholm Primary School, from 5.00pm.

Burial will take place on Wednesday 29th December, 2021, at his Ngarariga Farm, Limuru. The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary, the same day, at 8.00am.
