Rose Atieno Odhiambo

Sunrise: 3rd October, 1958 – Sunset: 4th August, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Atieno on 4th August 2025, in Mombasa. She died peacefully and surrounded by family, after battling a long illness.

Rose was the daughter of Lonsolata Adino and the late Linus Kanot Okoth, step-daughter of Leonida Anyango.

She is survived by her children, Vivian Guetler, Kevina Beger, Melvin Oduor, Maximilian Otieno, and grandchildren, Brandon and Brian Beger. Mother-in-law of Tobias Beger.

She was a beloved sister of Apolliria Rajula, the late Felix Okoth, Fidelis Odhiambo, Mary Akinyi, Anne Odhiainbo, Catherine Akoth, Nicholas Okoth, Carreit Awuor, Susan Aoko, Dolphin Apondi, Laurelia Atieno, Michael Oluoch, and sister-in-law of the late Patrick Raiula. She was a loving aunt, second-mother, relative, and friend to many.

Daily meetings and funeral plans are being, held at her home in Mkomani, Mombasa.

The burial is scheduled for 23rd August 2025 at Nyadorera, Siaya.
