Rose Nekesa Simiyu

DOB: 29/11/1990 – 08/10/2020

With deep sorrow, we announce the sudden demise of Rose Nekesa Simiyu at Aga Khan Hospital Narok following a short illness. Until her death, Rose was an employee of the Kenya Revenue Authority Times Tower -Nairobi.

She was the daughter to Mr. David Wanyama Simiyu and Mrs. Gladys W. Wanyama Simiyu. Sister to Michael Wafula Simiyu, the late Christabel Nanjala Simiyu, Christian Nyongesa Simiyu, Doreen Nasimiyu Simiyu and Irene Nafula Simiyu. She was step sister to Luke Mukenya. Sister in-law to Jane Nanjira, Selessor Atieno-Nyongesa and Andrew Malenya. Niece to Stella, the late Maurice, Consolatta, Pius, Patrick, Rose, Florence, Carol, Raphael, Margaret, Mary, Silvester, Martin and Jane. Doting aunt to Elsie, Michelle, Leon, Nathan, Natasha, Miguel, Moh, Amara, Basilio, Milan, Michael, Milton and Mercy. Rose was a loving cousin and friend to many.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home – Nairobi on Thursday 15th October at 9.00 a.m. for Kitale. The funeral will take place on Saturday 17th October at her father’s home Meru Farm Kitale starting at 9.00 a.m.
