Rosemary Mburu

It is with great sadness that we announce the demise of Rosemary Mburu which occurred on Thursday, October 8th, 2020 at Avenue Nursing Hospital.

Beloved daughter of Charles Kimani Gaturu and Grace Wanjiru. Wife of James Githinji. Loving and caring mother of George Mwaura, Hon James Kimani a.k.a Kiddim — MCA Kiambu county Assembly and Esther Wanjiru. Sister of the late Stephen Nganga, Joseph Kamau, Late Simon Furo, Francis Kinyanjui, Benard Gitau, Jecinta Wambui and Josephine Muthoni. Mother-in-law of Juliana Nyambura, Stella Nyagah, Stephen Mwaniki. Grandmother of Darrel Mburu, Pharrel Mburu, Dalvin Nyaga, Callierose Njeri, Cindyblessing Wanjiru, Ryan Kimunyi, and Bryan Nguru. Great Auntie and Cousin of many.

Family and friends are meeting at her home in Githurai 45 behind Brainstone Academy for prayers and burial preparation.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral home on Thursday 15th October 2020 at 8am and proceed for a mass service at St. Veronica Church Githurai 45 next to Mwiki Primary. Thereafter, the cortege will proceed to their family farm in Makuyu in Murang’a County for funeral service and burial.
