It is with the acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rosemary Auma Abong’o which occurred on 23rd October 2020 at Coptic Hospital, Nairobi after a long illness, bravely borne.

Daughter to the late Otago Magoya and the late Elizabeth Otago of Mudembi Village, Budalangi Sub-County. A dedicated wife to Michael Abong’o Ouma, and co-wife to the late Siprosa, Florence and Lilian. Daughter-in-law to the late Josephat Ouma Otado, the late Daria Akumu Ouma and Susan Akech of Kakrigu village, Mfangano Island. Sister to the late Fleria, late Ojiery, late Saakumi, late Saatisia, late Uhuru, late Njuya and Odongo. Sister-in-law to Conslata, the late Cosmas, Samwel, Maurice, Peter, Agnes, Pherry, Debora, Kevin, the late Marsela, Helida, Yun, Dr. Phelgona, Dorothy, the late Elizabeth, Judy, Emilly, Grace among others.

Devoted mother to the late Auma, late Akinyi, Chrispine, late Dorcas, Derrick, Denis, Phina, Edward and Kevin. Step mum to Sebastian, Stanley, Lawrence, Vincent, Quinta and Cosmas. She was a mother-in-law to Maggie, Prisca, Judith, Euphemia, Debra, Livoy among others. She is survived by grandchildren: Nigel, Nicole, Derell, Delia, Wayne, Shayne, late Dyer, Jayden, late Jasmine, late Ivan, Christian, late Adrian, Joel, Sheena, Ethan among others. Aunty to Justus, Zubeda, Bromic, Hannah, Hannington, Dorcas, Edward, Angela, Michele, Crystal among others.

The cortege will leave Coptic funeral home on 7th November 2020 for a funeral service and burial on the 9th November from 9.00am at Kakrigu Village, Waware Sub-location, Mfangano North location, Mbita Sub-County, Homabay County.
