Rtd. RSM.WO]. Peter Amusala

We announce the death of Rtd. RSM.WO]. Peter Amusala, son of the late Albert Nambwaya and the late Melisa Okutoyi, which occurred on 5th April 2024 after a short illness.

He was the husband of Jesca Asiko and father of Lilian Okutoyi, Erick Abuyabo, Moses Khwale, Stephen Nambwaya, the late Leah Anyoso and Emmah Andeyo.

He was the brother of Josephine, Lr. Dorna, Nathan, the late Stanley, Rey. Fridah, Trusillah, Michael, Leonidah and Repher.

Peter served in the military for 35 years and earned the Long Service & Good Conduct (LS&GC) medal. He was
involved in the peacekeeping mission in Sierra Leon (2001 to 2002). He served actively in ACK Mumias Diocese. He was chairman of Abakolwe Council of Elders.

Peter leaves behind 11 grandchildren,

The cortege leaves Kakamega Funeral Parlour on 18th April 2024 for a requiem mass at St. Stephens church Maraba.
He will be buried on Friday, 19″ April 2024 at his home in Maraba Village.
