It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden demise of Senior Rtd Chief Joseph G.O Dipondo alias Nyangumi, Dida or Chukuliu after a short illness.

Son of the late KAR Officer, Stephen Maili Adogo and Teresina Amollo (Nangwe) from Buranga, Ugenya.

Husband to the late Roseline Magdalene Wanyama (Nangachi) from Kabras, Kakamega. Father to Christine (Epanja School), Eugene (British Army -Kenya), the late Benard, Silas, Ignatius (MoH), Margaret (Karen Hospital), Charles (St.Vincent de Paul), David (late), and Sharon (TUK).

Brother to Sylvanus, Lucia, Gaudencia, Jane, Albina and John (late).

Cousin to Jacob Ouma (County Commissioner, Turkana), Hons Joseph Oyula (MP Butula), Alex Ayieko (MCA Marachi East), George (late), Charles Kwena, Mailis, Musundis, Dipondos, Ongomas, Muyotis, Ayiekos, Kuchios and others.

Brother-in-law to Buchunjus, Wanyamas, Chaka, Juma, Wabwire, Siata etc.

Uncle to Mailis, Muyotis, Kwenas, Siatas, Chakas, jumas, Wabwire, Ongomas etc. Grandfather to Mitchelle, Teddy, Lewis, Rooney, Oscar, Owen, Olin, Elvin, Bianca, Emmanuel, Brian, Benard, Edelqueen, Bernardine, Olivia and others.

Family and friends are meeting at his home in Emauko, Marachi East, Butula, Busia County.

The cortege leaves Butula Mission Hospital on Friday, April 28 afternoon for a requiem mass at St Marys Catholic Church. Burial is on Saturday, April 29. Eternal Rest Grant Unto ‘Papa, oh Lord, and Let Perpetual Light Shine Upon Him.
