Rtd WO I I John Maronga Masanya

It is with deep regret and acceptance that we announce the passing on of Rtd WO I I John Maronga Masanya, who was husband of Jemima Nyaboke.

Son of the late Paul Masanya, the late Salome Magoma and Tabibtha Moige

Father of Josephine, George, Beatrice, Samwel, Rebecca and Agnes. Father-In-law of Jackline, Stella among others.

His Siblings were, Nyabate, the late Nyaboke, the late Osano, Kirera, Esther Kerubo, Alice’s, Mecha, David, Drusila, Margaret, Robina, Kennedy, Mogiti and Hezron.

His uncles were Omboga, Momanyi,Areba Maroro, (all late) among others.

Son in-law of the late Nyaramba and the late Damaro.

Aunties were the late Nyachama, and Kwamboka, his cousins were Makori, Ondieki, the late Nyakundi, the late Maseno, the late Nyagaka, late Angima, the late Maronga Ogoro Seme, Omanga, the late Ondieki Omboga, Nyomotai, Kerubo Kwamboka, Nyarangi, Basireti, Omanga, Manyega, Patel, Obegi, the late Maronga, the late Hitler, the late Kerubo, the late Nyabate among others. His-in-law’s were, Zachariah, Obuchi, Obaga, Ongere, the late Zablon, Monchari, Kerubo, the late Onundu, the late Ongweso, Zablon, Kabete, Mary, Jane, Alice, Carren, Alice, Elizabeth among others.

The body is lying at Kaplong Mission Hospital and the cortege will leave on 14th August 2025 for his home at Kineni, Saiga Ngiya for night vigil and thereafter interment on 15th August 2025.
