Rtd WO2 Nicholas Mua Mativo
It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rtd WO2 Nicholas Mua Mativo of the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) at DFMH.
Son of the late Joshua Mativo Kituu and Tabitha Mwikali Mativo.
He was a loving husband of late Teresiah Wayua, a devoted father of Titus Mumo, Josephine Muthikwa, Zachariah Musyoka, and Damaris Mbenge, and a cherished grandfather of Linnet, Bernard, Naestor, Esther, Roy, Carlos, Patience, Joel, Blessings, Mercy, and Elvis.
He was a beloved brother of Ruth Ndulu, Virginia Wanza, Jane Katile, Patrick Mutua, Jackson Kasomba, Joyce Kalekye, Esther Mbeneka, David Mativo, Rtd. Major Mativo, ames, late Louise, Kimulu, Kitonzo and Musyoki, Musau, Makumi, Mwelu, Serah, Mbithe, Munee, Mutinda, Mutava, Ngina, Nzitani, Ndinda, Malinda and others.
He was father-in-law of Caroline, Jane, Jackson, Aristotle and son-in-law of Leonard Mulee and Josphine Muthikwa. Nicholas was a loving son, brother, and pillar of strength to his extended family, relatives, and friends.
His warmth, guidance, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Mua Hills, Kiongwe’ Village, Machakos County.
The cortege will leave DFMH Mashujaa uneral Home, Nairobi, on 30th January 2026 at 7:00 a.m. for burial the same day at Kiongwe Village, Mua Location, achakos County.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
