Rusalia Adhiambo Ogodo

It is with the acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved mother, Rusalia Adhiambo Ogodo.

She was the daughter of Isack Orwa Agiro, the late Mama Eunia Orwa and the late Salina Orwa of Rusinga Kaswanga.

Wife of Fredrick Ogodo Odero and co-wife of Margaret Ogodo. :

She was the mother of Keneth Ochieng’, the late Gilbert Otieno, the late Walton Bunde, the late Jane Aringo, Pamela Kapere, the late Wyclif Odero, Martin Odiwuor, Abigael Nyambuga, the late Isaac Orwa, Rebbeca Kinara and the late Molly David, Pastor George Ogodo, the late Roselina, Christine, Ruth, Eunice and Samwel.

Sister-in-law of the late Pastor Elisha Arunga, Samwel Opiyo, Naftali Obage, Jackson Awino, Senior Chief Benjamin Awino, Micah Mitoko, Cllr. Shem Kisero, Flora, Roselida, Grace, Margaret, Kerina and Caren.

Aunty of John Arunga, Dr. Bob Arunga, Amb. Dave Arunga, Lily Kidenda, the late Philgona Okundi, the late John Opiyo, Walter, the late Joshua, Moses, Dan, Tom, Peres, Safan, Jared, Micah, the late Jotham, Aiso, Jemima, Dorothy, Anne and Norah.

Sister of Samwel Orwa, Paul, Paulina, the late Anne, the late Sabina, the late Gideon and Damaris.

Mother-in-law of Aringo, Kapere, Martin, Josiah Kinara and the late David. Nyawana of the late Rosebella, late Rosa, the late Silvia, Jane Kinara and the late Teresa.

Grandmother of Dag, Brenda, Bethniel, Richard, Calvin, Wendy, Odhiambo, Victor, Natalie, Derick, Silvia, Laban, Happy, Kinara Sunny, Ronnie, Maria, Atieno, Clara and many others. Great grandmother of 43 and great great grandmother of two children.

The cortege leaves Gendia Hospital Mortuary on Thursday, 28th March 2024 and will be buried on Friday, 29th March 2024 at her home in Kanyamfwa Village, Kokoth Kateng’ West Karachuonyo.
