It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Ruth Muthoni Muriithi which occurred on 11th July, 2019.

Daughter of the late Mugo Wanyagaciku and the late Wacuka. Wife of the late Jeremiah Muriithi (Sir). Mother of Joyce Kimani (Mwea Primary), Wainaina, Muriithi (Naivasha Prison), Muriithi (St. Augustine Sec. Sch, Mutundu), Esther Wanjohi (Highway Secondary), Wanjiku, Wangari (Prisons Headquaters), Kanyagia, Wangeci (Machakos Prisons Industry,), Njeri (PSTC), Wangui (Athi River Prison), the late Mwangi and the late Thiga. Mother-in-law of John Kimani, Wanjohi, Nyambura, Rachel, Susan, Ndwiga, Michuki, Kiarie, Njeri and Beatrice. Grandmother of Naomi, Purity, Gathoni, Muriithi and others.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at her home in Gaithece, Kigoro Location, Gatanga Sub-county for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Bishop Okoye Funeral Home on Friday 19th July, 2019 at 8.00am for the burial service at her home in Gaithece, Gatanga as from 11.00am.

Mum, you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. Glory be to God.
