It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Rose Wamucii Muriuki of Gathaithi village, Gathaithi Sub-location, Chehe Location, Nyeri County.

Daughter of the late Anthony Githu and the late Lydiah Wanjiru. Sister of the late Mwai, the late Kahuthu, the late Kariuki, the late Kihiuria and the late Njoki. Wife of the late Geoffrey Muriuki. Mother of Wanjiru, Matheri and Nyambura, Wangari and Kiama, Githu and Wambui, Wagicugu, Karue, Muthoni and Wambugu, Wamuyu and Wanjohi, Wakariti and Muigai, Mwai and Wanjiku, Karoki and Wangari, Maina and Wanjiru, Muriithi and Wangari. Daughter-in-law of the late Matheri Kirinyaga and the late Julia Wangari. Sister-in-law of Esther Gathoni and Edda Wangui. Grandmother and Great-grandmother of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at St. Andrew PCEA Church and at her home in Gathaithi Village (Kiangumara).

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary, on 19th July art 9.00am and thereafter a funeral service at her home Gathaithi village (Kiangumara).
