Ruth Nyambura

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we inform you of the passing on of our Matriarch, Ruth Nyambura, which occurred on the 22nd of July 2018, after a short illness.

Ruth was the daughter of the late Wainaina Muiruri and Jane Wanjiku of Naaro village, Kandara. She was sister of the late Jacob Muiruri,Tabitha Wambui Kamau, and Kariuki Wainaina. Mother of Miriam Waithera, Alexander Gachanja Chege, Jayne Wanjiku, Godfrey Mwangi, the late Elizabeth Wangui, and Lilian Muthoni. Mother in-law of John Osama Oditio, Jane Mwangi. Grandmother to Roselyn, Henry, Martin, Felix, Damaris, Ruth Juliet, David, Yvonne, James, Dan, Ruth, Pharell, Randy and Teddy. Great grandmother of Tynan, Bernie and Alexander.

Friends and family are meeting at the Holy Family Basilica, Cardinal Otunga Building, 7th Floor, St.Teresa’s Hall from Tuesday 24th – 26thJuly 2018 from 5:00pm – 8pm and at her Kayole Residence for prayers.

The Burial will take place at Riandira, Sagana, on Friday 27th 2018.

While we mourn the death of our family matriarch, we celebrate her markable life as a devoted Christian, a philanthropist and a mentor to many.
