Sabastian Barasa Makinata

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Sabastian Barasa Makinata that occurred on 26th July, 2022 after a long battle with illness.

Husband to Eunice Macha Ongulu and Kalasina Auma. Father to Wilbroda Nafula, the late Electina, the late Lilian, Jacklyne, Carolyne, Mary, the late Norah, Regina, the late Tito, Silas, Isaac, Erick, Lawrence, Praxedes, Emily, Hellen, Catherine and Wilkistor Barasa.

Father-in-Law to Jacklyne, Diana, Esther and Gladys. Brother to the late Auma Makina, the late Veronicah Makina, the late Benetta Makina, the late Christine Aroni, Anna Nyande and Peter Juma. He leaves behind 62 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves St. Mary’s Mumias Hospital morgue on 4th August, 2022 for burial on Friday, 5th August, 2022 at his home in Musokoto Village, Musokoto Sub-location, Nambale Sub-county, Busia County.
