Salome Njeri Kirumba (Wakimani)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mrs Salome Njeri Kirumba popularly known as Wakimani, which occurred on 23rd October 2019.

Wife of the late Stephen Kirumba Gachene. She was a co-wife to late Mary Wanjiru Kirumba. Sister of Late Waithira Roki, late Wairimu Kimani, Hannah Wanjiru Kamau and Isaac Munywe Kimani. Sister in-law of Florence Wanjiku Gachene amongst others. Mother of the late George Muchene, Jane wahu Ngugl, the late Leonard Kimani, Nancy Wanjiru, Leonard Kamau, Alice Mithika, late David Njoroge. Nelly Wairimu, Elizabeth Mbuthia, Caroline Waithira Finnstrom and a Special daughter Mrs Lucy Gachichio. Step-mother of late Margaret Wahu Gathegu, late James Ndungu, Jane Mwando, late Eunice Njeri, late Leonard Kamau and late Ben Mungai. Mother in-law of Barbara Muchene, Catherine Wanjiku. Rose Wawuda, Brig. Mithika, Josiah Ngigi, Dr Mbuthia, and 0lle Finnstrom amongst others. Beloved grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother of a multitude.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Marigui-ni – Uthiru for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma funeral home at 9am Thursday 31st 2019 for a church service which starts at 11:00am at ACK St Peters Church Uthiru followed by the burial which will take place at her home Mariguini-Uthiru .
