Death has occurred of Sarah Gathoni Ngetha (Wago).

Daughter of the late Njau Gachihi and Wairima Njau. Wife of Gerald Ngetha Mathenge. Mother of Mathenge, Njau, Muraya, Ann Kenji, the late Gachihi, Njoki, Rachael and Mugo. Sister of the late Gacari, Ngonyo and Njogu. Mother-in-law of Charity Mathenge, Margaret Njau, Gathoni Muraya, Prof. Kenji, Gacebu Gacihi, the late Mwangi Kamonde and Mumbi Mugo. Grandmother of the late Ngetha, Nyambura, Ngatia, Njau (Mathenge’s), Nyambura and Mumbi (Njau’s) Ngetha, Mwangi, Nyambura, Mathenge and Wanjugu (Muraya’s) Kenji, Ngetha, Gichinjo (Kenji’s) Gathoni, Ngetha, Ritho (Gachihi’s), Ngetha Njoki, (Njoki’s) Kamonde, Ngetha, Wachira (Kamonde’s), Gathoni and Ngetha (Mugo’s). She has left behind 13 great-grandchildren.

Meetings are being held daily at their home in Matanya, Thome and at Muraya’s home in Karatina.

The cortege will leave Jamii Hospital Mortuary, Karatina on Thursday 31/10/2019 at 7.30am. Burial will be the same day in their home, Thome village, Matanya location, Laikipia County.
