With great sadness, humility and acceptance of God’s will, we the family of Sammy Muutu Mulwa (Daktari, Mkulima), announce his death on 29th March, 2021 at Premier Hospital — Nyali, Mombasa following a short illness bravery borne.
Son of Mulwa Mbolo and the late Dorcas Nthembwa Mulwa, Beloved husband of Catherine Musyawa Muutu. Son-in-law of the late Thomas Mwangangi Kitili and the late Pauline Mueni Mwangangi. Adoring father of Faith Ndanu, Theresia Lynn Ndeto Muutu, Thomas Makila Muutu (Premier Hospital – Nyali). Loving father-in-law of James Mbugua and Winnie Tsuma. Grandfather of Stephanie Katungwa, Leo Kimani and Zaha Malaika Makila.
Brother to the late Ndinda, the late Mueni, Katulu, Nduku, Mutuku, Mwania and Nyamasyo. Brother-in-law of Anna, Musyoka, the late John Nganga, Mutunga and Kioko. Cousin to David Malii, Kioko Ndambuki, Maweu Kyenze, Mutiso Kasuni, Musyoki Muia, Muoki Masaku, Muutu Kinyili, Mumbua Malii, Kisyoka Maleli and many more.
Uncle to Mbithe, Ndanu, Muuo, Mbula, Mumbi, Theresia, Mwende, Kasee, Mbovi, Mwangangi, Wambui, Kyalo,Vaati, Zahra and Muli.
Friends and relatives are holding daily meetings at Asian Canteen opposite Makupa police from 5.00pm.
The funeral will be held on Saturday at his home in Makueni County, Kibwezi East Constituency, Thange Ward, Utithi sub-Location, Utithi Village.
He fought a good fight and kept the faith.
