Samson Mbogori M’irura

1929 – 2023

It is with the acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Samson Mbogori M’irura of Ngonyi e Rwara, Imenti North, Meru County after a short illness.

Son of the late M’irura and late Maricela Nyoroka.

He was loving husband to the late Esther Kambura Mbogori. Father to Jocelyn Gacheri, the late Phillip Muthee, Samwel Kinyua, the late Joel Karani, Roseline Mwari, Jeremiah Muriki and Mercy Makena. Father in-law to the late Gibson Karuri, Faith Karimi, the late Lydia Mataria, Judy Kanana, Edwin Mugambi, Regina Kajira and Orestus Chweya.

Brother to the late Tabitha Kamba, the late Magdalane, the late M’Ringera M’irura and the late Joyce Mukomeru.

Brother in-law to the late Eliphelet Mbogori, the late Henry Mugambi, the late Zechariah Rukaria, John Mutwiri, the late Julius lmathiu, Elijah Karani,Veronicah Muriungi, Evangeline Kathambi, Jane Kathegu and the late Francis Kabunda.

He was grandfather to Susan, Kinyua, Esther, Kahiro, Mbogori, Nkatha, Kiriinya, Mutethia, Karwitha, Angel, Gatwiri, Nkirote, Kanja, Melissa, Sharon, Telvin, Mawira, Robin and Costin. Great grandfather to Chantel and Maxwell and Uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Nakuru Athletics Club from 5:30pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru on Monday, 6th March, 2023 for an overnight stay at Meru Funeral Home, Mwenda-Antu Road. The funeral service and burial will be held on Tuesday, 7th March, 2023 at his home in Ngonyi e Rwara, Imenti North, Meru County from 10:00am.
