Samuel Ndung’u Gichimu (Watabitha)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Retired Elder Samuel Ndung’u Gichimu alias “Watabitha” of PCEA – Thakwa, formerly of Nairobi City Council. He hails from Kamwanya Githunguri Sub-County Githunguri County.

Son of the late Reuben Gichimu and the late Tabitha Kabul. Loving Husband of Elizabeth Waithira. Doting father of Tabitha Wambui (UK), Rosemary Njerl (Wa-Sam) of (UK), Naomi Wairimu, (Norway) and the late Gichimu. Brother of Hannah Njoki, Jane Nyambura, James Gitau, late Joseph Kinyanjui and Naomi Wairimu. Father-in-law of Fredrick Mburu (Norway).

A Cherishing Grandfather to Comfort Botha (UK) George Kaniu (UK), Sam Kaniu (Ridgeways), Ann Kaniu (Ridgeways), Sam Botha (UK), Adrel and Elizabeth (Norway). Brother-in-law of the late Kimani Warui, Githinji Warui (lcaciri), Njagi Warui (Icaciri), Wanjiku Mutonyi (lcaciri), Mwihaki Ng’ang’a (Kanjai), Pastor James Mbugua (Nanyuki), and the late Naomi Gitichi (Village Inn).

Friends and relatives meet daily for prayers and funeral arrangements. The cortege will leave Mukoe Funeral Home – Githungurl, on Friday 2nd April, 2021, at 6.00am followed by burial Ceremony at his Farm in Kigecha near Egerton University – Njoro.
