It is with profound sorrow that we announce the demise of Mr. Samuel Ondara Momanyi on the 23rd August, 2025. He hails from Bombaba Igembe, Kenyenya Sub county, Kisii County.

Husband of the late Mary Kamboka and the late Isabella Nyanchama.

Beloved son of the late Zacharia Momanyi and the late Sabina Nyakerario. Brother of the late Thomas Nyamwega, Francis Mogute, the late Chritopher Ayaga, Peter Nyakerario, Teresia Ogoncho, the late Charles Machuka and Jacinta Maroko.

Son-in-law of the late Sotero Mandere and the late Lucia Mandere as well as the late Shadrack Nyamwega and the late Bonareri.

Father of Felistars Kemunto, Scholar Nyanchoka, the late Domtila Moraa, Robert Martita, Edwin Ombati and Walter Ondara.

Grandfather of Kudra, Michelle, Martam, Mohamed, Levis, Zahra. Lemayan and Talib. Great grandfather of Feyrose.

Father-in-law of Hon Said Kuri and Peris Esho.

Brother-in-law of John Marosi, Rose Mandere, Fr. Constantine Mandere John Nyamwega, Nyagaka Nyamwega among others.

Uncle of the late Ongeta, Grace, John, Felistars, Dr Isabella. David, Tiberius, Eric, Gerald among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Muthaiga, Lower Park.

Fundraising will be held on the 2nd September at All Saints Cathedral from 5.30pm.

The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home on 4th September 2025, He will be lard to rest on 5th September 2025 in lgembe Village Kisii County.
