Samwel Constantine Okungu

We are saddened to announce the death of Samuel Constantine Okungu on 5th December 2025 at Aga Khan Hospital-Kisumu.

Sam was the beloved husband of Rhoda Atieno Okungu and a devoted father of Steve, Lilian, Lynn, Brian, Isaac and Addah.

He was the son of both the late Mzee Isaac and Mama Addah Okungu. He was a brother of the late Mwalimu Willis Okungu, Mrs Rachel Odongo and Jae! Okungu.

Cousin of the Andilas, uncle of Amos, Moses, Agnes, Ezekiel, Lazarus, Grace, Isaac, Dorothy, Mildred and others.

Grandfather of Mathew And Sanna.

A father-in law of Akinyi Okungu, Nixon Oyugi,Collins Otieno, Linda Khabutsi, Silas Amolo and the late Ken Aloo.

Brother in-law of Professor Jack Odongo Ogembo and Janet Okungu.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Funeral Home on 18th December, 2025 at 9.30am for a funeral service at Bondo Town Holy Trinity Church Of Africa (Fitca) at 10.30 am. Thereafter they will proceed home in Asembo Rakombe.
