It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of Mr Samwel Kiche Ramogi. Samwel passed on the morning of 29th September at Kakdhimu in Rachuonyo North Sub County.

He was the beloved husband to Aphline Awino Onditi of Lwanda Primary School. Loving Father to Jeffrey Rodgers Kiche of Orero Boys High School, Gilbert Ramogi Junior of Lwanda Primary School and Ian Samwel Okumu. He was the son of Mzee Gilbertus Ramogi Okumu (late), Mama Angelina Odongo Ramogi and Mama Paskalia Okech Ramogi. He was the brother to Tom Mboya Ramogi, John Oloo, Solomon Omondi Ramogi, Joseph Odiambo Ramogi, Eng. Joseph Ouma Atonga, Snr. Chief Jacob Atonga, Charles Tasma Saka, Emanuel Munyasia, Philip Oluoch, Asino Ong’onge, Elisa Obila, Hezekiah Asino, Patrick Ocholla, the late John Odero Onam, Mary Anyango, Siprosa Akumu, Silpa Atieno, Isabela, Pamela Auma, Salome Awino, Pamela Auma Saka and Pamela Atieno (late).

He was the nephew to Silvanus Onam (late), Okelo Nyanjwa (late), Nanga Oyugi (late), Ong’onge Anditi (late), Dishon Akoko, Anditi, Plister Owili, Jennifer Awuor, Dusila Awino (late), Isdora Ogola (late), Margaret Ogola (late), Maria Akoth (late), Jane Saka, Perez Saka and the late Philida Ong’ore all of Kakdhimu. Peter Ayugi, George Ngicho (late), John Otina, John Otina and Peter Ogallo (late) all of Kagan. He was the loving Uncle to Millicent Okumu Sharon Atieno, Brian Mboya, Laurine, Leon, Cynthia, Austine, Ferdinant, Flavia, Janet, Anna, Olivia, Michael, Kevin, Leo, Jayalo, Linus, Queenter, Maureen, Lovine, Jack, Aman, Lawi, Jacqueline, Lorreta, Jim, Perterlis, Okok, Peggy, Travis, Biko, Awuor and Laman.

He was brother in-law to Beatrice Adhiambo Mboya, Benter Akoth, Elizabeth Adhiambo Oloo, Alice Ouma, Elizabeth Odero, Salome Okelo, Jane Okello, Mary Saka, Beatrice Apondi, Moline Omondi and Dina Nengo All of Kakdhimu. He was son-in -law to Mama Jane Akoth Otieno and Patrick Otieno Onditi (late). He was brother- in -law to Paul Otieno Otieno and Henry Omondi Otieno all of Kabuoch.

The cortege leaves Kendu Mission Hospital Mortuary on the 15th of October for an overnight Vigil at his home and will be laid to rest on 16th October 2020 at Kibare Village, Kamuga Sub-Location, Kakdhimu East Location under Lwanda Catholic Church led by Fr. Walter Okoth of Raruowa Catholic Parish.

We loved you but God loves you more. Rest in peace “Nyakwar Okumu” till we meet again.
