It is with deep sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we the family of Abraham Chelimo announce the death of our precious wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, grandmother and friend who departed suddenly on Friday, 2nd January, 2026.

Daughter of Mzee Nicasio Mbogo and the late Jones Wangari Mbogo of Gacengi Village, Manyatta Ward, Embu County.

Wife of Abraham Chelimo. Co-Wife of Paulina.

Sister of Nyaga, the late Wacuka, Mwaniki, Lydia, John, Njue, Kariuki, Wanja, Gitonga and Mbogo’s.

Mother of Isaac, Risper, Brian, Tabitha and the late Joshua. Mother in Law of Nelly.

Daughter in Law of the late Jonathan Chelimo, the late Susan Chelimo and Rose Chelimo. Sister in Law of Shadrack, Emmy, David, Mercy Kipsang, Caren, Patrick, Mercy Kibet, Gideon, Melvin and Chelimo’s.

Grandmother of Shae. Fundraiser will be on Tuesday 20th January, 2026.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 5,00pm at her home in Civil Servant (Court I) Kariobangi South, Nairobi and at home in Flax (Tuiyobei Village) Elgeiyo Marakwet County.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Friday 23rd January, 2026. The Burial will take place in Flax (Lamaiywo Village), Keiyo South, Elgeiyo Marakwet County on Saturday, 24th January, 2026.
