Senior Chief (Rtd.) Joseph Lekina Ole Kiok

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Retired Senior Chief Joseph Lekina Ole Kiok, which occurred on 30th November 2025 after a long illness.
He was a beloved son of the late Turanta Olasheri Ole Kiok and the late Mpaima Enole Kiok and stepson of Itanet Kiok.
He was brother of the late Lekishon Ole Kiok, Nenkokuai Kesler, Tulele Parsulan, Pastor Shinini Kiok, and Titoyia Mankuyio; and stepbrother of Lonkisa Kiok, Mainka Kiok, Salaton Kiok, Lesalon Kiok, Namundela Lemara, Nanyokie Kiok, and Naipano, Nkurumua.
He was a loving husband of Nalotuesha Kiok, Nesiamo Kiok, and Hannah Kiok. He was father of the late Tubula Kick, Tobiko Kiok, Dr. Phillip Kiok (Ministry of Livestock). Pastor Koileken Kiok, Matuyia Kick, Kamakei Kiok, Oloishuro Kiok, Kotoine Kiok (GDC). Letuya Kiok (Maasai Mara Matira Camp), Tianta Kiok (CRBC), Mateu Dapash, Simpai Kishoyian, Kuyiato Ntayia, Seenoi Kosen (Maasai Mara University), Lasitei Kiok (Narok County Government), Lanoi Kibelekenya, and Siamanta Kiok.
He was father-in-law of Noomieshuki Kiok, Diana Kiok, Noolkilorit Kiok, Karsis Kiok, Nalakiti Kiok, Noonkishu Kiok, Judy Kiok, Joan Kiok, Stellah Kiok, Lemois Dapash, the late Nchue Kishoyian, David Ntayia, Felix Kosen, and Lesinko Kibelekenya.
He was a cherished grandfather of Lialo, Moseka, Leyian, Labuny, Simel, Koitamet, Sankaire, Sananka, Lemashon, Leshan, Saitabau, Memusi, Rimoine, Sankale, Brian, Micah, Kosen, Lemara, Kosikir, Lesiamon, Kateti, Maison, Saningo, Kisai, Oloishurua, Moriaso, Oloserian, Leina, Caleb, Suyianka, Eric, Leshan, Brian, Kellian, Letipat, Lesiamon, Moitari, Matayian, Tayian Nadupoi, Mosompa, Serewan, Mosonik, Nairesiae, Simaloi, Nosim, Soila, Sianto, Milanoi,Timpiyian, Simaton, Kailau, Seleina, Mpaima, Kitayion, Naini, Pain, Sekeyian, Damaris, Naipasoi, Sharline, Simayiai, Naisianoi, Nemayian, Sanaipei, Koyiano Miianoi, and Samato.
Family and friends are meeting daily from 5:00pm at their home in Irnolelian Village, Olokurto Ward, Narok North, and at Chambai Hotel in Narok Town.
The cortege will leave Egerton University Funeral Home on 13th December 2025 at 9:30am for the funeral service and burial at his home in Ilmolelian Village, Olokurto Ward, Narok North, Narok County.
