Shelmith Wangechi Wachira

We regret to announce the passing on of Shelmith Wangechi Wachira, wife of PeterWachira Rukwaro.

Mother of Titus Machu and Charlene Wangui. Daughter of Titus Mathu and Elizabeth Nyokabi Mathu. Daughter in law of Dorcus Wangui Rukwaro and the late Harrison Rukwaro. Sister of Boniface Mwai, Kevin Muteru, Edward Mwangi and Penis Muthoni. Sister in law of Cyrus Wang’ombe, Elijah Gakuo, Joel Kamunya, Samuel Mwangi, Reuben Gikonyo and the late Margaret Wanjiru. Granddaughter of Shelmith Wangeci Muteru and the late Snr. Chief Simon Muteru Wachiuri. Cousin, niece and auntie to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at their home in Mihang’o (Nairobi), family home in Nyarugumu, (Nyeri), at Recces (Dagoretti Corner) and at the Holy Family Basilica, St Dominic Hall today Wednesday 4th July 2018 at 6.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Outspan Funeral Home on Friday, 6th July 2018 at 8.00am. Funeral service will start at 10.00am at the family home in Nyarugumu Village, Muhoya Location, Nyeri County, followed by burial at the same venue.
