Teresia Wanjiru Njuguna

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Teresia Wanjiru Njuguna Thuku of Kagongo Village,Tinganga Kiambu County which occurred on 26th June 2018.

Daughter of the late Gitemenge Wangengi and Sarah Wambui Gitemenge. Wife of the late Edward Njuguna Thuku. Mother of John Thuku (USA), the late Wakonyo Kangara,Wambui Kiriba,Thami Njuguna,the late Waithera Njuguna, Jane Kariuki (USA), Margaret Njuguna (Kenya Power), Lucy Wathiga, Monica Njeri, Naomi Githae (USA) and Charles Nyutu. Sister of Ngugi, the late Munene,Wahiu and Nyamwathi all from Ngemwa Kiambu.

Mother-in-law of Wacuka Thuku (USA), the late Peter Kangara, Simon Kiriba, Kihumba Nene (USA), Charles Wathiga, Kuria Wakaba, David Githae (USA) and Susan Wambii. Aunty of Wambui Kiminda and many others. Grandmother of 32 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Meetings for Prayers and Funeral arrangements are on going at her home in Kagongo Village, Tinganga, Kiambu County daily starting at 4PM.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 6th July 2018 at 9AM. Requiem Mass will follow at Tinganga Parish Catholic Church at 11AM and there after burial at her farm in Kagongo village, Tinganga.
