It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Shreemati Ratanben Devchand Pethraj Karania on Thursday 1st March 2018 in Nairobi.
She was Wife of Late Devchand Pethraj Karania (Formerly of Nairobi River Service Station and Silpack Industries Ltd).
She was Mother of Late Prafulla (Saroj) Ramnik, Sudha (Anju) Chandrakant (Birmingham), Dinesh (SIL Group), Trusha (Halc-u) Dipak (London) and Ritish (SIL Group).
She was Mother-in-Law of Ramnik Malde (London), Late Chandrakant Harakchand (Birmingham), Vibha Dinesh, Dipak Tarachand (London) and Anjana Ritish.
She was Sister of Late Lilavanti Govindji Punja (Hinckley, La), Late Premchand Kunverji (Mumbai) and Maniben Velji (London).
She was Sister-in-Law of Late Monghiben Devraj (Bhiwandi), Late Raichand Pethraj, Late Jamnaben Raja (Bhiwandi), Zaviben Nathalal, Late Shantaben Premchand (Mumbai), Jayaben Premchand (Mumbai), Late Amratben Premchand, Motichand Pethraj (London), Chunilal Pethraj (Articraft — Mombasa), Late Bhanuben Shantilal (Bangalore), Late Devraj Pancha (Bhiwandi), Shantaben Raichand, Late Raja Raishi (Bhiwandi), Late Nathalal Mepa, Late Premchand Mepa (Leicester), Kanchanben Motichand (London), Late Kanchanben Chunilal and Shantilal Jivraj (Bangalore).
She was Aunt of Narendra Raichand (Silpack Industries Ltd), Shilla Ramesh (Mombasa), Namrata Chunilal (Mombasa), Payal Sanjay (London) and Chirag Chunilal (London).
She was Grandmother of Rahul, Ajay, Niraj, Shail, Urvi, Jilna, Late Shrena, Rushabh, Preksha and Arshi.
Cortege will leave from Oshwal Centre, Ring Road Parklands on Saturday 3rd March 2018, at 2pm and cremation will take place at the Hindu Shamshan Bhumi, Kariokor at 2:30pm.
Prayer meeting will be held on Saturday 3rd March 2018 at Oshwal Centre, Ring Road Parklands, at 8pm. Ratanben’s Cornea were donated to the Kanubhai Babla Lions National Eye Bank.
