Simon Komu Mwangi

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Simon Komu Mwangi of Kirerema sub-location, Githi Location of Mukurwe-ini sub-county, Nyeri. Komu was a former employee of Kenya Breweries Limited and Signon Freight and Logistics.

Husband of the late Susan Wangari Komu. Son of the late Hadad Mwangi Komu and the late Joyce Wairimu Mwangi. Brother of the late Ngubiri, Lucy Wangui, Peter Gachie, Nancy Wanjiku and Tabitha Njoki. Father of Jane Njeri, Joyce Wairimu, Samuel Mwangi (Wa Komu) of Direct Loo Services, Anthony Maingi, Lucy Wangui, John Ngubiri and Eunice Wanjiru and grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his rural home in Giitwa village of Kirerema, Mukurwe-ini and Homeland Hotel along Thika Road in Nairobi for funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Jamii Mortuary in Karatina on Saturday 28th September, 2019 at 9.00 am for church service at Githunguri Primary School and thereafter the burial at his home in Giitwa village, Kirerema in Mukurwe-ini, Nyeri.
