Simon Mathuva Mukemba

(1913-2021)

We the Mathuva family, in acceptance of God’s will, wish to announce the death of Simon Mathuva Mukemba which occurred on 25th March 2021.

He was husband to Ruth Mathuva, Father to the late James Mutua Mathuva, Moses Nyalita, Maj (Rtd) Greyson Nyamai Mathuva, Lt Col (Rtd) Daniel Kiio Mathuva, Jonathan Nthale, the late Juliana Nthambi, Alex Katumo, Eric Mutinda Mathuva.

Father-in-law to Peggy Nyalita (US), Josephine Nyamai, Maria Kiio, Hellen Nthale, the late John Kyenze, Jane Katumo and Peris Mutinda.

He was the grandfather to Mwendwa, Mumbo, Keli (all US), Sila, Mbeti, June, Bliss, Muuo, Munyao, Mutiso, Mulinge, Kennedy, Mueni, Maundu, Mutua, Mutindi, Esther, joy, Rehema, Emanuela and eight great-grandchildren.

The burial will be on Saturday 3rd April 2021 at his farm in Muthyoi village, Nziu location, Makueni.
