It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Solomon Gitonga, Alias, Mathiu Elijah.

Son of the late Elijah M’Ithili and Martha M’Ithili. Husband of Monica Mukiri. Father of Sylvia Gatwiri, Brenda Karwitha and Godwin Murithi. Brother of Esther Nkatha, the late Joseph Muriungi, the late Moses Mwongela, Kaimathiri USA, Grace Kaumbuthu USA, Mary Kagwiria, John Mutabari, Naomi Kalingu. Brother-in-of Kobia, Kaumbuthu, Kaimathiri, Njora, Dorcas, Stephen, Francis, Mutethia, William, Mercy, Hosea and Glory. Uncle of David Muriuki, the late (Mathiu Elijah) Mwenda Kobia, Martin Murithi, Pamela Kananu, Timothy Thuranira, the late Fridah Musa, Mwiti Musa, Daniel, Rhoda, Nathan Kaimathiri, Ezra, Dennis, Faith Kaumbuthu, Ken, Thuranira, Eric, Lorna Mutabari, Louis, Vanessa, Solomon Njora.

Friends and Relatives are meeting at Kalithiria Home from 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kiirua Mission Hospital Mortuary, Meru on Friday 19th October, 2018 at 10am for a funeral service at Kalithria Methodist Church, Meru at 11.30am, thereafter Burial at his home next to the Church.
