Solomon Mutiria Liriah

It is with profound sadness & humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Solomon Mutiria Liriah which occurred on 21st September 2019. He had just retired from the Parliament of Kenya where he was a Senior Parliamentary Officer.

Son of the late M’Liriah M’Marimba and the late Maritha Nkirote of Kalithiria, Mituntu location. Son in law of the late Victor M’Itaru & Regina Itaru. Loving husband of Caroline Mutiria. Committed father of Felamine Mwendwa, Alex Chemareni & Narvin Munene. Devoted grandfather of Kiki. Brother of Joseph & Edith Thuranira, Josphat & Lucy Ntongai, Esther Kanini, David & Judy Bundi, John & Rose Kanyili and James & Kimaiyu Mwongela. Brother in law of Bruno & Margaret, Donata & Munjuri, Kirianki & Salome, Ng’olua, Mwiti & Dorcas. He was predeceased by his siblings Henry & Kaimuri, Kinoti & Kaburo, Mutunyi & Karuti. Solo was a caring uncle, kind cousin and a great friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 23rd to 26th Sept at the Professional Centre on Parliament road in Nairobi and Kalithiria in Meru, starting at 5pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home at 7.00am on Saturday 28/09/2019, for funeral service and burial in Meru — Kalithiria.
