Tabitha Wangeci Muchiri (Mama Wanyeki)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Tabitha Wangeci Muchiri (Mama Wanyeki) which occurred on 20th September 2019.

Beloved wife of Jackson Muchiri (Nakuru). Daughter of the late Martha Nyambura and the late Daniel Gichanja. Daughter in law of the late Julius Wanyeki and the late Jane Wairimu. Mother of Jane Wairimu, Mercy Nyambura, the late Loise Wanja, Margaret Waithera, Julius Wanyeki, Nancy Wanjiru, Phyllis Wangari, Rebecca Nyakairu, Daniel Gichanja and Anne Wanjiru. Mother in law of the late peter Muiru, Simon Mureu (USA), Peter Gichuki, Janet Wambui, Julius Chege (USA), Daniel Kimani, Elizabeth Njeri, Ken Maina (Kenya Orient Insuarance Ltd). Sister of the late Peninah Waithera, Phyllis Wangari, the late John Kamau, Francis Kirubi, the late Joel Waichere, the late Hannah Wanjiru, Macharia Gichanja. In-law of Wanja, Karema, Githaiga, Wanjiru, Gathima, Njoroge & Roseline, Mwaura (JM) & Muthoni, Kamau & Wanjiku, Gathatwa, Njau. She was blessed with 31 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Prayer meetings are being held at her home at section 58 Nakuru.

The cortege leaves war memorial mortuary on 27th September 2019 at 9AM for a funeral service and interment at southern cemetery in Nakuru town where her body will be laid to rest.
