It is with Humble acceptance we announce the falling to sleep in death of our Loving Mother which occurred in St. Francis Hospital (USA), on the 2nd June, 2022.

Daughter of the late Margaret Odenyo Owek and the late James Owek of Maseno Nyawita – Karateng. Married to Jason Henry Ochieng of Alego Siaya, Nyajuok She was blessed with five sons; the late Victor Otieno James, Kenneth Erick Omondi, the late David Okinyo, Barrack Otieno and Brian Oduor (USA). Mother-in-law to Anastasia Wangari Otieno, Maggie Kerubo Ochieng, Agnes Ayuma Otieno and Jacinta Oduor.

Sister to the late Edward Olango Owek, the late Alice Ayoma Owek, the late Moses Owiti Owek, the late Lydia Achieng Owek, Jeconiah Owek and Jairus Wasuna Owek and many others.

Grandmother to Ian Otieno, Brian, Andy, Bobby, Haile, Sophie Achieng Otieno, Ashley Emmy Otieno, Lewis Jamal Otieno, Nicole and Hawi. She was Auntie to Many.

The deceased will be laid to rest at her home in Kakamega, Lubao Shamberere South, Kabras on the 25th June, 2022.
