Stanley Waithaka Nyamu

It is with great sorrow that we announce the promotion to Glory of Stanley Waithaka Nyamu on Sunday 5th June 2022. He was a board member (Treasurer) of Kenya Christian Industrial Training Institute (KCITI), Trustee of Kenya Church of Christ and an Elder at Dandora Church of Christ.

Husband to Jane Mwihaki Waithaka. Father to Samuel Nyamu (KCB Tala) & Lena Nyamu (Meru County Government), Mark Maina (Safaricom) & Jackline Maina (Humble Hearts School), Esther Wahito (DTB Bank Thika) & Humphrey Andika (Josh Heights).

Son to the late Peter Nyamu Gikingo and the late Tabitha Wahito. Brother to the late Lawrence Gitonga, Francis Gikingo (Miiri), the late Elizabeth Gathigia, the late Kimunyi, Jane Muthoni (Utawala), Anne Wacuka (USA), Charles Maina (Ontime Interfreighters), Japheth Mwangi (KNATCOM), Jonah Wanjohi (Artist) and Gladys Wanjugu (KCITI).

In-law to the late Miano Gachewa & the late Priscah Wangithi, Mary Nyawira & the late Peter Wachira Mbichi & Teresia Wangu Miano.

Grandfather, Cousin & Uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Savannah Donholm, Miiri in Mathira and Mweiga Nyeri.

There will be a Memorial Service at Nairobi Church of Christ – Eastleigh (NCCE), 3rd Avenue, 5th Street, on Friday 10th June, 2022 from 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary (Northern Bypass) on Tuesday 14th June, 2022 at 7.30am. Funeral service will take place on the same day at his farm in Miiri (Karatina), Nyeri County, starting 10.00am and burial at the same place in the afternoon.
