It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Stephen Mwangi Timothy, Director Hotel Mercury Limited.

Son of the late Timothy Nyagitheri and the late Milka Muthoni Timothy of Kenya Njeru Rwathia Kangema. Loving husband of Alice Waithera (Dada Alice) Rtd. Layreader Bahati ACK Church. Father of Joyce Muthoni of Scripture Union, Pastor Faith Wanjiku of Ridata Kenya, Timothy Gathere of Hyperteck Electricals Services, Naomi Wanjiru of Cherma Bakers, Jacob Njoroge of Karurumo Farm and Ruth Nyambura of Keby Agencies. Father-in-law of Reverend George Bosire, Caroline Wambui, Stephen Waso, Caroline Wathungu and Edward Nabibia.

Brother of Naomi Wanjiru Gichuki, Tabitha Wanjeri Kamau, Reverend Geoffrey Maina, Hiram Mwangi, Geoffrey Kanyi, the late Mary Nyakinyua Kagoi, the late Josphat Thuo and the late Lilian Wangeci. Grandfather of Edgar Mwangi, Eunice Waithera, Stephen Gathere, Babra, Marto, Sherryl, Favor, Levi, Hope, Alicekelsy, Lakeisha, Kimberly, Elsa, Alwin, Nyne. Great grandfather of Adrian and many others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at 6:30pm in his Buruburu home phase 4, Hotel Mercury and Rwathia Kenya Njeru for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta university funeral home on Thursday 16th august 2018 at 7:00am. Thereafter funeral service and burial at his rural home, in Karurumo Embu County at 11:00am.
