Susan Wanjiru Mangala

It is with sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our dear Susan Wanjiru Mangala on July 31, 2019 at The Nairobi Women’s Hospital, Adams, after a long battle with Lupus.

Daughter of the late Simon Kimani Kuria and Alice Nyiha Kuria.

Daughter in law of Beatrice Kahindo Achongia. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Mumbere Mangala and her children; Benoit Kimani Mangala (Riara Springs Academy), Julienne Kahindo Mangala (Acacia Crest Academy) & Stephan Mbarika Mangala (Lakewood Academy).

She was a sister of Helen Weru, Jane Wainaina, Elvis Kuria and Ian Kuria.

She was sister-in-law of Charles Weru, Andrew Wainaina & the Mangala’s (Congo).

Loving aunt of Ethan Weru, Gabrielle Weru, Akira Wainaina and many others.

She was a cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends will meet from Monday 5th August to Wednesday 7th August from 5.30pm – 8pm at the family home in Kitengela as well as St. Andrew’s Church for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There shall be a requiem mass on Thursday 8th August at Don Bosco Catholic Church in Upperhill at 4.00pm.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral home on Friday 9th August, at 7.15am and thereafter we shall proceed to lay Susan to rest at Mawingo, Gilgil.

She will forever be remembered and dearly missed by her family, relatives and friends.
