Symon Thuo Muhia Gachahi

It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Symon Thuo Muhia Gachahi of S.T.G Muhia Advocates.

He was son of the late Zephaniah Muhia Gachahi and late Cecelia Wangui Muhia.

He was loving husband of Mary Kiboi Thuo. Father of Augustine Muhia, Peter Kiboi, Andrew Gachahi and David Thuita. He was a father-in-law of Lilian Murithi and Nondwe Gachahi. He was a grandfather of Njoki Kiboi.

He was a brother of the late Irungu Muhia, Herbert Gichengo, Robert Mbatia, the late Peter Maina, Elvis Watene, John Kamau, the late Elizabeth Nyakairu and Benjamin Gatukunyu.

He was son-in-law of the late Simon Kiboi and the late Loise Kiboi.

The family will be meeting at All Saints Cathedral on 17/03/26 and 18/03/2026 from 5 to 8 pm, as well as at the homes in Kangema and Karen.

There will be a requiem mass at St. John’s the Evangelist Church in Karen on Friday the 20th of March at 10 am.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 24th March 2026 at 8:00 am. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, the 24th of March at Kiairathe Catholic Church in Kangema, and burial thereafter at his ancestral home Irima, Kiairathe Village, Kangema, Muranga County.
