Tabitha Kithiru Mbaka

It is with profound sorrow, yet with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing to Glory of our matriarch, devoted wife, loving mother and doting grandmother and great grandmother, Tabitha Kithiru Mbaka.

She was the daughter of the late M’Mbwiria Karugara and the late Ciamburungu M’Mbwiria. She was the loving wife to the late Jasper Mwathani Mbaka.

Mother of Eileen Kagendo, Douglas Muriungi, the Late Joyce Kagendo, Margaret Karimi, John Gitonga, Dr. Bedford Mwenda, Robert Mukiri, Lydia Karoki, Martha Kaari and Janet Kamathi. She was also the dear mother to Gatakaa Riungu, Dorothy Ngethe, Catherine Maina, the late Gilbert Murithi, Idah Kanini and Franklin Kirimi.

She was blessed with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Family and friends have been meeting for prayer and funeral arrangements at the PCEA Church in Karen from Tuesday to today at 5-6pm and continue meeting at Tabitha’s home in Chuka daily from 5pm.

There be a memorial service this Sunday 13th January, 2019 at the PCEA Church, Karen at 3pm.

The burial service will be held at Tabitha’s home in Chuka on Tuesday 15th January, 2019 at 10.30 am.
