It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Senior Chief Makatiani Joseph Lisanza on 16/04/2018 after a short illness.

Son of the late John Makatiani and Mama Anjeline Mutawuda of Imulumbu Village, Shabwali Sub-location, Shikurnu Location, Ikolomani South Division, Kakamega South Sub-County, Kakamega County. Beloved husband of Beatrice Lanya. Father of Noel Ibiria, Brian Makatiani, Mary Makatiani, Winfred Makatiani, Buxton Makatiani and Mediatrix Makatiani. Brother of Francis Makatiani, Margaret Tembesa, and the late Ruth. Father-in-law of Lucy Wanyama and Nahashon Lwali. Cousin of Patrick Butichi, Clement Lusenji, Antony Asala and the late Pius.

The cortege leaves Kakamega County General Referral Hospital Mortuary on 26/04/2018 at 9.00am and will be laid to rest in Imulumbu village, Shabwali Sub-Location on 28/04/2018.
