It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the transition of Mama Teresa Anyango Kiaye.

Beloved wife of late Elder Apollo Biem Kiaye.

Daughter of Meshack Anode, Alice, Ruth and Rhodah Anode (all late) late) of Nyakach Koguta of Kanyada location, Homabay County. Daughter-in-law of Nathaniel Kiaye and Loise Awuor Kiaye (both late).

A cherished mother of Loise, Erick, Alice, Judy, Russell, and Enock. A loving grandmother of Tracy, Whhitney, Joy, Crystal, Lance, Sean, Jeremy, Brandon, Kelsey, William, Wayne, Carl, Chris, Terri, and Tiffany. A proud great-grandmother of Talia.

Mother-in-law of Dr. Paul Were, Dr. Evans Magambo, Felix Kathiany, Fatmata Sandy, Dora Ronny, and Christine Ombaka.

Sister of Isca Okombo, Tom Anode, Samwel, Damaris and Rael – (all late), Beatrice Asudi, Lilian Ouma, Johnson, Elizabeth, Joseph and others.

Sister-in-law of Margaret Awinyo (late), Grace Migwa, Pnilip Rweya, Dick, Sarah, Leonard, Millicent, Mary, (Walter, Sammy, John, Susan – all late), Enock Abayo, Yana, (Paul Okombo, Nick Odhiambo – both late), Sarah Anode, Helidah, Ben Ondiek, Maurice Asudi, Prof. Josiah Ouma, Juliet, and others.

Family and friends are gathering daily in Tena Estate, Prime Court, Nairobi.

A major- fundraiser will be held on Monday, 2nd March 2026 at Maxwell SDA Church, (Old Sanctuary), Milimani from 5.00 to assist in funeral arrangements. p.m.

A memorial service will be on Wednesday, 4th March 2026 at Maxwell SDA Church (Main Sanctuary), 10.00 a.m.

The cortege leaves for Kamagambo, Rongo, Migori County on Thursday, 5th March 2026, with a church service and night vigil at her home. The funeral and burial services will take place on Friday, 6th March 2026 at her home near Kobado Centre in Kamagambo, Rongo, Migori County. The home services will be officiated by Tonye SDA Church,
