It is with profound sorrow and acceptance we announce demise of MamaTeresia Mukoiti Mung’athia retired teacher from Ntoto Village, Mucuune, Tigania West Meru County, who went to be with the Lord on 8th August 2025.

Daughter of the late Virgilio M’nchebere and the late Johanina Kanja.

Wife of Salesio Mung’athia Nkaricia. Mother of the late Patricia Kirito, Caroline Gacheri (Eldoret Polytechnic) & Gilbert Kinyua (Kerio Valley Development Authority Lodwar), the late Duncan Kimathi, Kellen Murithi (Kaluli School) & Zablon Mburugu (lrindiro School) and Ronald Muriuki(Base Titanium) & Caroline Mutua (Kiri nyaga County).

Sister of Francis Thiauru & Peninah Mweroo, Charles Thambau & the late Francesca Ncekei, Engineer Kananga Nchebere & Rael Kigea, Peter Gitonga & Emily Kathambi, Salome Kinya & John Gatumo, Dr. George Mugambi & Lucy Njoki and Purity Kagwiria.

Grandmother of Mary Magdalene Kathomi, Mitchel Ntinyari,Alvin Muturna, Shayne Briton Muriuki, Jayden Munene, Shania Amani Muriuki,Tiffany Kanana, Shadyn Alina Muriuki and Alvis Murimi.

Daughter-in-law of the late Nkaricia Nairuti and the late Ciamubuika Nkaricia. Sister-in-law of the late M’mutia Nkaricia, Mbeti Minyori, the late Naamu Nkaricia, Kiiru Ntuara and Kando Mutabuta. She was a cherished aunt, mentor, and friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home Ntoto village Mucuune, for burial preparation and prayers.

The cortege leaves Cool Breeze Funeral Home on Tuesday, 19th August 2025 at 9:00 a.m. for a funeral service and burial at her home in Ntonto Village Mucuune, Tigania West, Meru County.
