Thomas Mbuvi Ndunda

It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Thomas Mbuvi Ndunda, that occurred at Nairobi West Hospital on the 7th of September 2025.
He was the second born son of the late Mzee David Ndunda Nzivo and the late Ruth Mbithe of Matungulu sub-county, Matheini location, Kyekoyo.
He was the spouse of Hon. Catherine Muia (Machakos County Assembly). Father & Mentor of Irene Mbuvi, Advocate, Dickson Mbuvi, Harrison Mbuvi and Victoria Mbuvi. Doting grandfather of Anella, Zenani, Adrielle,Asher, Scully, Silver, Sanchia, Raphael, Japheth, Marion, Michelle, Zani, Ezra, Amari, Raheim and Saviana.
Brother of Michael Musembi,Anthony Muisyo, Jane Munyoki, Catherine Nitta, Moses Nzivo and the late Florence Itumbi.
Brother-in-law of the late Fred Munyoki and Tarcisius Nitta, Brother-in-law of Terry, Josphine, Janet and Dorothy. Father-in-law of Eston Mwangi, Teresia Kitonga and Anastasia Maende.
Uncle of Zola, Brian, Harry, Angela, Nzomo, Winnie, Francis, Richard, Mark, Allan, Ivy, Evans, Lynne, Nicholas, Flo, Zelfar, David, Jane,Victoria, Flavian among others (34).
Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his Residence in Syokimau, family home in Mariakani Estate South B and at the rural home in Kyekoyo for prayers and funeral arrangements.
The Requiem mass will be held on Friday 12th September 2025 from 6:00 Pm at St Veronica Catholic Church – Syokimau Parish.

The cortege leaves Montezuma. Funeral Home on Tuesday, 16th September 2025 early in the Morning for the burial which will be held at Kyekoyo village.
