It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing on of Timothy Kimutai Kirui on 30/08/2018 after a short illness.

Son of the late Kipsang Mutai and the late Bornes Taptechok Mutai. Beloved husband of Hellen Kirui (Uswet Primary Sch.). Father of Faridah Cherop, Caleb Kiprono, Shalif Chepkorir and Elvis Kipyegon. Brother of Sir James (Director, KTDA-Kapkatet), Marindany (Ozone a MoEF), Sarah (Koiyet), Linah (Olenguruone), Phillip (Principal, Kiptewit High Sch), David Games Finlays’) and Joshua (Transmara). Step-son of Taputany Mutai. Stepbrother of Francis, Joseph, Christine, Angelina, Regina, Evelyn, Nancy, Janet, Monica and William.

Son-in-law of Mr. William Rum and Mrs. Mary Rum. Brother-in-law of Peter, Caroline, Veronicah, Beatrice, Dominic, Mika, and Victor. Shemeji of Anne, Rhodah, Patrick Ngeno, Esther, Juliana (Principal, Kipsigis Girls Sch.), Margaret, Jane, Hellena and Mirriam. Uncle, Cousin and Friend of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his home for funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave St. Claire’s Kaplong Funeral Home on Thursday, 6th September 2018 at 2:00pm for a night stay at his home.

Thereafter the burial will take place on Friday 7th September 2018, at his home (Obot James) in Uswet Village, Sotik constituency, Bomet County.
